Ancient Rome Project
You are going to produce a poster telling modern-day
visitors to Rome about the most important C1 AD sites in the city.
It should contain:
-
A map showing the location of the sites.
-
Pictures, some of which show the sites as they are now, and
others of which show them as they would probably have looked
in the C1 AD.
-
Descriptions of the sites as they would have been at the end
of the C1 AD.
You could scan your pictures from books or take them from the internet.
Similarly, your written information could come from a variety of
sources, but the final product must be in your own words, not simply
pasted in from elsewhere, and must be word-processed. The final
poster should be on A3 paper, preferably with a border.
Useful internet sites:
Your mark will be equally divided between these
two areas:
Written Content - Is it accurate, relevant, interesting, well-composed
and concise?
Presentation - Is it neat, colourful and imaginative? Are the images
varied and appropriate?
